Supplemental 082807

Star was doing much better today, her affect was normal, and she was going to start weaning back onto her dog food, but while she was out for some training time she was stung (possibly multiple times) by a bee or some other insect. The entire right side of her muzzle swelled to the size of a baseball. Poor little Star, she looked horrible when I arrived with some Benedryl for her. When she didn't look better after about 30 minutes, she got to go in the van with Mike. She meet the vet with Chip and Chesty, who both got lyme and distemper shots. Star got steroids to help with the swelling and will continue with the Benedryl until tomorrow. I am looking forward to a boring day at some time in the future...;)
