Here is the latest pic of Waldo, who's still under quarantine for his upper respiratory infection. He appears to be handling it well, his affect and appetite are good and although none of the other puppies are showing any signs of coming down with it, I am glad they were all quarantined this weekend.
The pic below is of Chip on the ping-pong table. He is responding to a command from his handler.
On Friday I showed the handlers and staff how to take pulses, count respirations, and deal with minor emergencies that come up when you have a puppy. Next week we'll learn about wound care and bandaging, how to treat an ear infection, etc.
Star is showing off the command "under". The dogs practice this every day during meals and visits.
