JC went out with me yesterday. Most of her eval was without food lures, except as noted.
She was fine leaving Chris, but then refused to JUMP into my truck without food. she settled well in the truck, no problems.
We got to the gym and she was heeling wide, needed many commands for basic obedience remonders, and would not THROUGH no matter how many times I asked. When SAYing HELLO, she rubbed her gl violently on the young girl I sent her to. No problem lying in the middle of 30 eliptical/treadmill/rowing machines, but got up at 19 minutes. I asked her for LEASH, no response, GET my towel that fell, no response. Upon leaving we had the same issue with JUMP.
We went to my house, she played well with Draco. She also jumped onto my bed, my couch, my kitchen table and the windowsills, repeatedly. Her house manners were awful.
We went to lunch with a friend. For this excursion we used a bait bag full of dehydrated tripe. She needed three commands to UNDER the table and another to remain in the down. Her HEEL and WAIT were non-existant. I asked her to BACK up, no response. Again she refued to JUMP into my truck without food.
She came back to my house and played a bit more with Draco, and was then returned to Chris.
JC needs to work on her basic obedience in new places and it would be beneficial for her to go visiting new places, people's homes, and work on stays as well as basic obedience. She needs to complete commands the first time she is asked and needs to be corrected when she does not.
I will take her out again next month.
