Rubin has a possible eye infection, the same one that he had not too long ago. None of the other pups appear to have it. Brian called Paula for an ok for a vet visit.
Merlin is settling in with Paul. He is a little spooked by some of the guys at times, but we are hoping that he will stop noticing them soon. Out with WPR Lee and WPR Jenny this weekend. I am interested to see how he fares and if they notice any difference in him this weekend.
Duke is still a brat, but his intense focus on Chris and attention to detail in his work make he stop and stare at him. He is still very young but he is beautiful to watch. He tried to intimidate Chopper on the day he came, but Chopper gave it right back to him and then some! This is going to be interesting.
Chopper is settled in. As a matter of fact, I think someone told him that he owns the place! His first weekend out with WPRs Scott and Carin has him going to a party with lots of other dogs. Can't wait to see the report!
We have a new game in class. It involves walking with your leash in your hand and a teaspoon with a Dunkin Munchkin in the same hand, then completing a rather simple obstacle course type weave pattern. If you drop the munchkin, you must stop and pick it up. If your dog eats it, you must start over. We played several test versions of the game last week and will continue to refine it over the coming weeks. Dawn has also come up with a new game, I can't wait to play it!
