Merlin SIT STAY
We visited the nursing home on Saturday afternoon. A student of mine volunteered to come with us and play the piano, so we all sang Chirstmas Carols and then as is our usual routine, the dogs went up to the floors to visit the ladies who couldn't get downstairs to see our NEADS presentation. This is a monthly 2-3 hour field trip that we do every second Saturday of the month. All are welcome. The dogs work on say hello, sit stay, down stay, stand stay, heeling, elevators, work around medical equipment, and the elderly. We ask the ladies to throw retrieve items for he dogs to fetch and they practice rest and visit with the dogs.
We all had a great time as usual!
