Training Notes, 032511

Rubin has been excused for noise sensitivity.  I am working on finding him a home that will be a great fit for him.  For those who do not know, I place all of my excused dogs.  I do not place my dogs in homes where the occupants work full time because it seems unfair to the dog who has been with a human 24/7 for it's entire life to suddenly adjust to an empty home.  If you know of someone who would like to provide a home for our well trained excused dogs, please ask them to contact me.

Merlin is working 4+ hours a day beside a w/c.  Handler is doing an excellent job of cleaning up any sloppy sits, etc.  He is still silly at times, but in general is a dog with alot of enthusiasm for the job.

Major~basic obedience looks great, out in public looks great.  He has finished a basic obedience class and moved on to a more challenging class.

Nykki is a female golden who arrived last week.  She is exhibiting some extremely rude behavior, chasing people, biting, guarding space/toys/food from humans and other dogs.  I will do an eval of her on Friday and make a determination from there on her.
