Merlin 1059~Back to Princeton where, unfortunately, he is having a very difficult time being in the kennel. He is showing fears~particularly of men. I went up last week and took him out to a local mall, a place where he had never been. Merlin was his old self~tail up and wagging, met many, many men of all descriptions with no issues: grey haired, black, asian, young, and dev. delayed group of about 8 who croweded him. No issues. As soon as we got back to the NEADS lobby he began to show stress signs, tail down, ears back, alert barking.
Erin is workin on it with him. He did have a successful field trip with Jen, but did show signs of descrimination between men and women when greeting strangers.
Major 1135~continues to do really well, no issues.
Nykki 1173~Failed on 0422 for aggression, up for adoption. Nykki would make a fine pet, but her dominant personality would not be suitable for a NEADS dog.
